This will be a quick ITB Extra but wanted to pass along some key notes I got on both.

*** Let's start off with three-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Ja'Den McBurrows. As I mentioned yesterday, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is going virtual in-home visits with the 2021 Michigan recruiting class throughout the weekend. His Zoom meeting with McBurrows will take place tomorrow and will also feature Michigan cornerbacks coach Michael Zordich. Expect Harbaugh and Zordich to clear up any stability concerns that he and his mother may have. Leaving one final lasting impression on his mother will be key here. I have hear from a couple of people that Miami is really selling her on keeping McBurrows closer to home.

*** McBurrows has given no indication that he will flip from Michigan. Remember, he's not an early enrollee but will be signing on Wednesday. While McBurrows is giving great quotes to me publicly and has told me that everything is still good with Michigan, I'm starting to get a little more concerned here. There seems to be some growing confidence on the Miami side that they can get McBurrows to make the switch in coming days. As I state this week, they have been going after him hard over the last couple of weeks, and he is now around the top of their respective corner board. We're going to continue to keep a close eye on this one over the next several days.

*** While Miami is going all in on McBurrows, I'm told the Hurricanes are no longer pushing for Rivals100 Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood linebacker Branden Jennings. That's one less competitor to worry about. However, as we first reported, Jennings is no longer an early enrollee and does not play to sign during the early window next week. My confidence level in Michigan keeping Jennings has gone way down. As I mentioned earlier this week, Maryland is making a huge run, and there is a lot of confidence on that side. He visited there early in the process and has a family connection. Michigan is still pushing here, and the Harbaugh call with him will be big, but this one is trending in the wrong direction. I'm not sure if I would make the flip pick to Maryland, but I damn sure wish I could get my pick off Michigan (come on Rivals, let's update the system).
