*** Rivals100 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy safety Keon Sabb recently left Michigan out of his Top 6. However, Michigan is right back in the mix here. In fact, Sabb is slated to make his way to Ann Arbor for a mid-week official visit next week. New Michigan assistant Ron Bellamy has done a fantastic job of recruiting Sabb over the last couple of weeks and deserves plenty of credit for convincing him to make his way to campus. With all this said, it's going to be tough for Michigan to ultimately win over Sabb. Clemson is considered the favorite, and SEC programs Georgia and Texas A&M are slated to get him in for official visits this month as well. We'll see if the OV moves the needle.

*** The safety board is continuing to expand as four-star West Bloomfield (Mich.) High athlete Dillon Tatum continues to prolong his decision. I have reason to believe Michigan State has momentum in this race yet again after hosting him for an unofficial visit last weekend. However, Michigan is getting him on campus for an unofficial visit this weekend and can once again swing the pendulum. The situation with Tatum is pretty simple. I'm told Michigan State is making him the crown jewel of its class with Mel Tucker personally leading the way in his recruitment. With Michigan, Tatum isn't exactly the man with Will Johnson headlining the class. Still, Tatum has so many ties to the program through Bellamy and former teammates. It comes down to whether he wants the love from MSU or the comfortability from U-M.

*** Four-star Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglas wide receiver Dane Key made an unofficial visit to Michigan this week. The Wolverines recently offered, and he has a lot of familiarity with new assistant Steve Clinkscale, who recruited him at Kentucky. While I'm told the visit went well and Michigan is firmly in his top group, there is still work to do here. Key's father played at Kentucky, and the Wildcats just hosted him for an official visit. Kentucky feels good about keeping him home. He also has June official visits set with Oregon and South Carolina.
