*** Michigan is set to host Rivals250 Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany cornerback Ephesians Prysock for the BBQ at The Big House this weekend. Prysock does not have an offer from Michigan just yet, but I would expect that to change during his trip to Ann Arbor. I would also expect Michigan to be a major player here. New Director of Player Personnel Courtney Morgan has ties to this recruitment, and I'm told Prysock is very open to leaving the West Coast. Prysock made an official visit to Ohio State last month, but it's unlear where he sits on the Buckeyes' board. Tennessee and UCLA are two others very involved in this recruitment.
*** Rising 2023 Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day offensive tackle Clay Wedin is another national recruit visiting Michigan this weekend. Wedin visited Ohio State earlier this week, and the Buckeyes are very high on his list along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami and a few others. However, Michigan getting him on campus is definitely a positive sign. The Wolverines landed Mario Eugenio out of Tampa this cycle and are making Wedin a priority for next cycle. We should know more about where things stand after his visit.
*** Very quickly, it was reported elsewhere that 2023 Rivals100 running back Reuben Owens and 2023 Rivals100 linebacker Ta'Mere Robinson would be on campus this weekend. I am not expecting them at the bBQ but both do want to visit in the near future.
