the huge basketball scandal from last week has disappeared from the news. This is a gargantuan story that has stopped dead in its tracks.
I am sure there is a flurry of activity behind the scenes--probably more subpoenas and attempts to cut deals with defendants to gain more info--but from such a big story to.......nothing.
I anticipate a prolonged investigation with nuggets appearing now and then although I have heard some commentators feel this will be all there is. I hope not. I hope the Feds make a big dent in illegal recruiting.
