And it’s about time

won’t get into the reasons why we haven’t had Michigan football until this week —- but it has been sad watching Bama etc play while we are at home

there is ALOT to like about this team

much depth - but young - and a GREAT attitude

have posted before but three things help us in this situation
1 - conditioning - team is in great shape and have been In consistent train go since mid June - I think only team in big ten that can say that

Coach Ben Herbert and staff have done a great job

2 -practice - as above team has been in practice since mid June - a lot of reps for the young guys a lot of time to jell

will make no predictions - and we have a lot of youth - but watching the GA qb last night - hmm young guys can perform at a high leve

3 - coaching - the time has Been used coaching up the team - very tight staff and team

will this yield success? Still have to play the games - but I like our team

Matty D and staff have really found some great young me to represent michigan and that will be shown starting next Saturday

a couple things do have me confused - nico really could have used this year - His sitting makes no sense and Dylan sitting when the year doesn’t count given he could have helped him by having less time off he is looking the transfer

on ambry cant blame a young man with a health issue from sitting given Covid

as to the team the safety postion is set - expect Dax to play some cb too on passing downs - the CB”s are still looking for the next two and Sammy and g green are battling for the 2nd cb spot

they will get action early and need to be ready

dj turner and j perry will play some too to see how they all play in games

LB”s are set and will be great a lot of talent

I expect Michael Barrett will be a pleasant surprise at viper he is bigger and faster then Hudson

remember he was a kick off returner at 225 - he has wheels

d line - all set - if jeter is as good as is being said - depth will be set

on offense - joe Milton has been my favorite player since he has been on campus

just a great young man and leader

josh will have to keep game plans to what a first time starter can handle - and given extra practice time they have

I expect joe will be awesome

rb depth is exceptional and as some have said will be needed when weather turns cold

I expect chris evens to be used in many roles and he is in great shape

Zach - Hassan and Blake Corum

with bench mason for short yardage

te”s have depth and talent

season comes down to how well the 4 new starters play on o line

A lot of talent and frankly a bit of a nasty streak in this group

we will see

most critical issue the team has

on the number of captains some have had comments

can only say Jim is rewarding the leaders and like it given the discombobulated nature of 2020

more leaders are better then less

time to tighten the chin straps
