Isaiah Barnes recent injury was an unlucky blow to his season. I've been able to watch maybe 4 of his games and the kid is so much better than his current ranking. At time of signing I think he was 6'6" 175 lbs. He is now up to 6'7" and 190-195lbs. He is explosive and has really expanded his range to the point he is now a 3-pt threat. Can put the ball on the floor when he is closed out on and has a mid-range pullup to make him a three level scorer. The two things he can really improve on is his motor and defensive intensity. These two things will keep him on the bench if he doesn't change them but watching Simeon play this year they play such a chaotic, selfish-even, style. They almost never run sets for him or try to take advantage of his mismatch instead choosing to jack up wild shots. I think once he gets on campus he will be a stud.

Frankie Collins is one of the most athletic players in the class, Barnes is explosive, Kobe Bufkin is sneaky bouncy and his high school clps don't do him justice as he's added more bounce to his game and he has a quiet confidence that he's sure he's elite. Moussa Diabate is an athletic energizer who has decent skill and will only get better. Caleb Houstan is a notch below them in quickness and jumping ability but he has superb functional athleticism. The type that has been honed to fit his smooth style and his body looks like he can make big gains under Sanderson. Will Tschetter isn't overly athletic but he's sneaky quick and will surprise opponents with his quickness and motor. Overall this class addresses the current roster shortcomings. Specifically guards that, if pressed, can break you down and make you play. Strong finishers at the rim, mid-range games and can shoot the 3-ball.
