One could argue the "JT was short" 2016 Ohio State game was the biggest thus far, but this one, to date, would have to be #2 for several reasons. First, the stakes for Michigan could not be higher. A Big Ten title does not disappear with a loss, but the CFP certainly would. Next, knowing now, in 2018, that Harbaugh needs to beat his rivals and with a loss to ND already in the books, this one really would be devastating to the momentum of the program. Lastly, with a good QB and favorable matchups position for position all over the field, a loss could be tagged on game planning, game management, etc in this case and that would squarely fall on Harbaugh. For me, the lead up to this game could not be more stressful because the stakes are so high. Hopefully, the team and coaches play with a sense of urgency and opportunity. In the end, this game is huge for Michigan and needless to say, one could argue, the second biggest game of the Harbaugh era.
