My guess is that he will be observing the team during bowl practice and the game and then take over.

That's pretty much was my guess too ... was wondering if there was some contract restriction with BC that prevented him from just starting in right away ... or something else?
JH said Brown is most welcome but thought the new coach had things to wrap up in Boston before joining the team. Imagine moving a family during the holidays
