the offseason heals a lot but when I see all the posts about what our record will be, and how dependent it is on Patterson and the O-line, it’s puzzling to me because I recognize those issues but also remember all the angst on here during games about playcalling, penalties, coaching, essentially. Also, so many lean so hard on Harbaugh’s past successes.
I have posted on here many times that even in his record upset of USC while at Stanford, his in-game coaching was suspect at best, but nobody has ever responded, just moved on to his shite doesn’t stink stuff. Go back and watch the 4th quarter. I’ve done it and it reminds me of some of the sequences we’ve been seeing here. A couple of examples are highlighted in the following link. For some reason Jim didn’t signal the play in on the crucial 4th down of the game. Pritchard wings it. Then he sends 12 men out on the field coming out of a critical time out. I like him a lot but have always been skeptical of his in-game coaching.
