With Michigan's decade long struggle on the football field, sans a couple good seasons sprinkled in, it's hard to stay relevant amongst youth football players. Although Harbaugh now provides a spotlight on the program, I think Michigan football and its fans should thank their lucky stars that Tom Brady and Charles Woodson came here, were arguably the best ever to play at their positions professionally and, in Brady's case, continues to dominate the league. IMO, they helped fill the gap between the early 2000s and the present, keeping UM relevant. Just a thought...
