There appears to be some momentum with the transfer portal now as Michigan is expecting a visitor on campus this week.
After talking to some folks, I can confirm that Michigan is expecting Wisconsin guard Connor Essegian on campus for a visit this week. While there was nothing specific mentioned in terms of dates, it appears likely the visit will come this weekend. I will confirm dates if I can at some point this week.
Essegian does not have an offer from May currently and it would be rather peculiar if he walks away from the visit without one. If, or when, that offer does come around, I don't expect Essegian to take very long with his process of wrapping things up. He wants the Wolverines and it appears the ball is firmly in May's court in what to do next.
Other programs are involved with Essegian, with schools like Indiana pushing for him as well and will get a visit if May decides not to pursue it despite hosting him for a visit.
