This one is on hoops ...
Michigan's game at Penn State will be made up Wednesday, the 27th. The Wolverines will either (edit) bus or fly (we don't know yet) to Happy Valley to play that one — this had been their week of "just in case" make-up games, and this will be a reschedule of the only one they've missed to date.
They were going to bus to the Jan. 9 game.
On the recruiting front, five-star 2022 Jaden Bradley was rumored to be nearing a decision, and several analysts had him pegged for Kentucky (soon). His father, Nate Bradley, shot that down today.
"No commitment in the near future,” he said. “He has remained in touch with the staff at Michigan.”
He said in November his son had developed a “crazy good” relationship with Juwan Howard.
And five-star Chet Holmgren is on the cusp of a Gonzaga pledge, it appears. For some reason, somewhere, there was optimism that he might join U-M's loaded 2021 class. Our sources shot that one down quickly, and if he doesn't go G-League, he'll be a Bulldog.
One more thing ...
The team drove down to Purdue on a bus last night now knowing if they were going to play. Purdue has a walk-on out with COVID, so all the Purdue players got tested yesterday with the results not being known until today.
As of this morning, the game was 50/50, but it's a go, despite rumors that Sasha Stefanovich will be out. We have not confirmed that ... he's one of the few who hadn't gotten it on their team before, and Purdue sources don't know, either. But they do know the game is on.
