Perhaps as a counterpoint to our various issues on offense, I think Partridge deserves a lot of praise. He took over for a veteran LB coach and, IMO, the play of the group improved -- starting with Ben Gedeon. Year 2 and he's got a rookie Mike starting and, if anything, LB play has improved. Yes Don Brown helps but I think Partridge has done a great job. And by all accounts he's an outstanding recruiter.
I hope we've got some succession planning in place and that Partridge is getting the experience he needs to possibly take over if Brown leaves. Regardless, I think he's an outstanding young coach with a bright future.
