My wife announced to me: “Hey, I think Pitt (our sister-in-law’s school) won the ACC Championship!”
I responded with a very intelligent/informed: “Hunh ???” Honest to golly, I have to admit bold-faced ignorance !
I did not even remember that Pitt was in the ACC (and they shouldn’t be, btw). So they were playing…PLAYING…Wake Forest (yes, WF…’Demon Deacons’) for the ACCC.
In case you were unawares, WF has traditionally been the doormat…the shall-we-say, the ‘Rutgers’ of the ACC.
Lo and behold, these two perennial 🤡 teams are ‘Duking’ (pardon the pun) it out for the ACCC.
So why should you/we care? Yuh, I get it, but it shows the shifting stage in Div I.
No Clemson; no FSU Seminoles (my other alma mater); no UMiami Hurricanes;
Well, bottom line…other than FOUR teams right now,😎, everyone else, BWAHAHAHAHA, including O$u, is a bottom-feeder. I love it !
