In a long season, some teams just get exposed. Doesn't mean the program or coach...

sucks. Sometimes it just takes a whole season to turn a year of snapshots into the final photo album.

UM, exposed today.
Florida, exposed today.
Oklahoma State, exposed today.
Several other teams exposed a bit earlier as schedule toughened, then maybe softened up again.

A foundation was laid this year. Harbaugh has 4 jobs in the off season if you ask me, none simple but none impossible.
  1. Build depth.
  2. Finally fix the OL that has been broken forever. RB recruiting is going to get tough if the OL stays broken.
  3. Figure out a way to create turnovers.
  4. Find 2 guys who can run and tackle at linebacker.

Good post - we need a lot of talent. Think about it this way - how many of the players that played today for Michigan would start for OSU? I can only think of 3 players - Butt, Peppers, and Lewis. All our other players would not be starting for Ohio State. We have a massive talent gap and player development gap that won't get fixed overnight. It will take time. Getting speed at LB is critical - saw the MSU game and their LBs are fast. Ours were terrible this year. We need a RB that has patience, a vision and can keep their legs moving while also being able to block. Smith can block but that's about it. Wheatley has his work cut out for him.

Ironically if I had to create the list you created in the beginning of the year - QB and WRs would have been my 2 areas of concern and we did fine in those. I think O'Korn will be just fine next year assuming the O-line can give him some time.
