I'm not a fan of Kyle Whittingham

The guy seems to dance on the edge of smack talk. I guess that he's got that right, since they have beaten us 3 times in a row. Some of his antics last year on our sideline and then this year's post game comments irritated me. I hope we schedule them often once we get this thing turned around.

He is probably the most anti smack coach anywhere. He hates talk and hype and would rather play the game. He hates twitter and all social media. Just a "play the game" guy. I can tell you have not seen him much, or you wouldn't make the assessment.

I have to agree with mohlin1, I live in Salt Lake and see and hear the Utes ALOT, maybe more then I want. With that said, Kyle Whittingham is a no non-sense type guy that is hard nosed and kind of old school(but is very forward thinking and adapts/adjusts) "punch 'em in the nose" type of guy. I have never heard him talk smack before or after a game, win or lose. He might not me the greatest coach, but he is solid and pretty darn good with what he has to work with.

I found it odd that in the post game he gave no credit to UofM .. everything was good or could have been
good without a Utah mistake.
Gee guess it was Utah mistakes that had Jake overthrow two sure touchdowns
guess it was Utah mistakes that Perry (he did a good job overall) miss some routes that let to int's/pick 6

Give credit to Utah .. they played well but to hear him the only reason Utah was stopped was because of Utah mistakes.

He said after the game they should have won bigger. Arrogant, maybe UM gets a little credit for holding their second team All-American in check and getting 9 TFLs . We missed a FG and they missed 2 ! We were a bit better than he expected and we could have won. WE make no TOs an he is not boasting of winning and by what margin. We'll see him again down the road. GBGB"74
