mainly because of Warriner. He has proven to be a very good coach and as pointed out by Skene there was improvement from the MSU game to the IU game. Not enough, granted, and it was complicated by needing to replace two starters due to injury, but improvement nonetheless. If we get some stability in players I have confidence that Warriner will have them improving through the season (never fast enough, yes I know!).
DL, though, hasn't shown much except in the first game. But both IU and MSU held our best guys in check and moved us off the ball, and it got worse when Hutch and Paye went out. I don't see evidence of growth and have to question the coaching of the DL - it certainly doesn't seem to be to the level of Warriner and the OL.
