Really feeling like Underwood has used this whole conference championship thing to put a big old chip on his teams shoulder. Seems to be working so far. They are much more active than they were just a handful of games ago. They look very tough, very physical.
This is the area that concerns me with our team. We were the aggressor, coaches were even commenting on how physical we were early in the year. We are playing a much more passive brand of basketball, more finesse. We need to start banging again. The 2nd half today was more of what we need. But it needs to be sustained, and when teams come out and punch us, we punch back, but harder.
Hoping the situation overall with today’s game is that fire we needed to get them back.
