If we do part ways with Harbaugh, I will be sad and I will be worried, no matter who we hire.

Sad because Jim is one of us, he's a Wolverine. He's an alum, played for the school, won Big Ten Championships and loves Michigan. He was the Quarterback when I was in school. I met him a couple times as i was friends with John Vitale. Cocky as hell but you knew he could back it up.

Worried not because I want Jim retained but because there is no sure thing. Harbaugh proved that. When we hired him in 2014 I don't think anyone would've wanted any other coach on the planet. He was the slam-dunk, sure thing hire. I do worry about support from the athletic administration and wonder how burning their desire is to win. I do wonder if the new coach can thrive, beat OSU and win Big Ten titles is Harbaugh couldn't.

Change is warranted and change is what I want but it doesn't mean I like it.

Honestly, I would love nothing more than Jim to get extended and shove crow so far down my throat that I'm spitting black feathers for months! @LosAngelesWolverine and everyone else doing victory laps around me. Truly, I hope that happens.
