...then he wasn't that solid on UM in the first place.
I know a lot of people here want to keep wallowing in self pity about what happened against OSU, because I even did it for a few days before coming to my senses around Tuesday or so, but a whole lot of projecting is being done with regard to Harrison's actual feelings on the situation.
The fact is that we don't know what's going on in the boy's mind and we won't know until he reveals it, but we can say that based on what we know of his relationship with UM that if he cuts bait for OSU because of that game, he's really just going where the wind blows, which is such a knee jerk thing to do with a decision that will impact the rest of your life but we've seen kids do it before.
The bottom line for us is that if he leaves, it doesn't cripple the class. Not by a long shot. Though plenty will act like it does and expect Hoke-level mass defections after that in a completely unrealistic sense. It will be disappointing not to land him, but it's hardly a death knell to Michigan football if he doesn't come here.
The most impact it will potentially have is that you'll need a strong and nasty enough OL to deal with him in the future for that game. I'm sure that terrifies at least a few people, but it's just another challenge to potentially face in the game of college football.
Just my thoughts on the situation.
