If Harbaugh gets extended how much of a visceral reaction will we see from the fanbase?

I think it will be historically bad. I think the number of season ticket holders get cut in 1/2, especially with current pricing. Number of people in the stands at some of the home games next year will be in the 50,000-60,000 range without Covid issues. It will get bad. It will take a championship and/or a 10 win season with a victory over OSU to change and that might not even do it. I’ve had season tickets for about 30 plus years and ticket holders are already at their wits end. Many sell their seats every week, not just to the OSU game. I’m sure most don’t get back what they are paying for their tickets. Now, it might not matter to them because the majority of the revenue comes from tv $ and not butts in the seats. But it’s also a terrible look from a PR standpoint.

I’m not sure Warde understands the gravity of the situation for absolutely alienating a huge % of fans if they keep Harbaugh. Honestly it’s likely too late for a certain % of people. If they go out and hire Matt Campbell I’ll be 100% back on board but many I think have already made up their mind to bail. This is a huge point in time for Michigan Football.
