If ACC is disciplining their refs, BIG should do the same

The crew that worked the MSU/UM game were horrible, almost too many errors and mistakes to count, significant, game changing ones, and small errors.

One would think, but the B1G doesn't really have a track record of doing that.

John O'Neill is the B1G's "best" referee but he's had 3 consecutive years where he's called a high-profile football game and made mistakes all over the place. 2013, LSU v TCU. 2014, OSU @ PSU. 2015, MSU @ Michigan.

The BIG wouldn't have any refs on the payroll, then. I think they rely on instant replay to save their asses and after this weekend we all know how crappy instant replay can be (see Miami and 3 missed calls).

That was the antecedent to my comment on BIG's refs, the ACC suspended theirs for poor performance.

ALL officials should be evaluated each week! Who is without error, no one. They all fall short at times of being correct and no harm if they suspend ,without ESPN fanfare guys who stunk up the place and effected the game. "74

Agreed. And what's worse is that the Minnesota/Michigan refs were significantly worse! I know you guys can't feel good about being given a victory in a game that was clearly dominated by the real winning team, the Golden Gophers.

Nope the refs were bad. They definitely did their best to keep Minny in the game as long as possible.
