I would caution on one thing...

Walton is the heart and soul of this team. MAAR did well early but after that he was overmatched. When it becomes LeVert and Robinson as the only scorers then trouble is ahead.

Not diminishing the lack of toughness/rebounding/defense but this team needs Walton as much as they need LeVert.

The only way this team can compete with the big boys is if Dawkins & Irvin start performing. It can't be a 3 man gang. I am hopeful for this team but as I said a few weeks ago...this team needs Irvin, Dawkins and Robinson to score consistently against the top tier of the Big Ten.

Dawkins...the huge winner of biggest disappointment so far this year. Irvin...close 2nd but winner of who can shoot the most 3 pointers with the lowest percentage in NCAA history.

I am not looking for UM to become a final four team...just get to the tourney.

Won't make the tourney. No toughness anywhere. Where is Zak Novak when we need him...or Trey with the cold hearted eyes, or Stauskas with his enthusiasm, or Morgan with his inspiration. Beilein is toast .
