I Wonder If Other Fanbases Are Different?

At this site, we hold up Urban Meyer as a God and question whether Jim Harbaugh is better than Gary Moeller.

If I'm not mistaken, Urban's last two losses were a 31-0 stomping at the hands of Clemson, and a 31-16 home loss to an Oklahoma team that struggled with Baylor last week and lost at home to Iowa State yesterday.

I wonder if, after a single loss, Oklahoma fans are also throwing in the towel?

I also hear Mark Dantonio is a better coach than Harbaugh. The same dude who went 3-9 this past season (his tenth), presided over a team full of rapists, and just two weeks ago got blown out at home by ND.

Harbaugh inherited a mess on offense - a team that lost to Rutgers, Maryland, and Minnesota in 2014. A team that lost its two best offensive players (Gardner, Funchess). Here are the QBs Brady Hoke recruited: Bellomy, Morris, Speight, and Malzone. Let that sink in for a second.

If Harbaugh made a mistake, *maybe* it was this - not biting the bullet and starting Peters last year, with the understanding that he's your best talent at the position, but it may take two years for him to come into his own. But then I didn't hear many people complaining when we started the year 10-0, either.

I'm as frustrated as anyone watching this offense. The line is not very good, and that of course negatively impacts QB play. And presumably better QB play would open up the running game. And of course having Newsome and Black would probably help, too.

It was one loss, to a rival, by four points, in a downpour, in a game where we turned it over five times and they didn't turn it over once. Not exactly a moment to question whether Harbaugh can ever win it all, in my mind. But we live in an instant gratification world, so it's not surprising to come on the board and find these sky is falling posts.

It's a good thing we didn't can Beilein after his team took a step back and didn't even make the tourney in year three, especially since they were playing for the national championship just three years later.
