I know this will never happen but how about Jim Leonard. I also know he has never been a head coach but he certainly has a pedigree that would work here. Midwest guy, tough as nails and so far has put together a pretty good defense that we wish we had. There are plenty of examples of guys making a leap from assistant/coordinator to head coach. Mo, Lloyd, and Lincoln Riley.
