Listen, after the pummeling from Illinois, Livers getting hurt, limping to the finish line, the stupid noise of the win percentage to win the B1G, losing to MSU, losing to OSU at the last second, my expectations were seriously low.
So basically, we go opposite of 2018, and we get no seeding luck. No upsets, we play LSU and FSU with a lot of NBA talent, and it wouldn’t have shocked me if we lost either game.
But now, we get some “luck”, get an 11 seed, a team that really we match up well against, a team that if we beat, we can rub in a rivals face, make it to the final four, and hang ANOTHER banner. Now, granted, we’d play Gonzaga, which is a game where it’s win-win, no one will expect us to win or it’s a massive upset.
