JB needs to get a big time player. I mean big time. Big Time. Like McGary level. Top 10. I would take 2 top 50 guys.

Chatman obviously hasn't done much and he was highly rated but OSU is making UM look like a JV team athletically.

JB is a great coach and we are fortunate to have him at Michigan but with all the success we've had the last few years I'm surprised he has not landed a big time player in the past couple years. JB does a wonderful job developing players, plus he has Michigan winning, so you would think we would get at least one very high end recruit each year. I really think this is what we are missing, We have solid young players but I don't see a superstar from our last two recruiting classes. Hopefully he lands a big time difference maker very soon.

Top 25 guys are really hard to pull against the Dukes, Kentucky's of the world.

It would be better for Beilein to stick to 26-100 guys, unless there is a great connection.

Maybe targetting players in the 26-100 range that have significant upside would be the best strategy. I agree that most of the top 25 players are being taken by Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and Arizona type teams. JB seems able to find diamonds in the rough so maybe he can find guys in 26-100 range that he can develop into top 20 talent. He needs to land a couple really good players to get the team back into the top 20,
