I Think That One Reason That There Is So Much Dread . . .

after today, is the belief that JH (and by extension, DB) will not learn from and adapt in the aftermath of, today's ass whooping.

It's clear that we still need more talent, especially at safety, but it's also clear that the respective stubbornness of both JH (when it comes to offense) and DB when it comes to defense, scares more than a few people here.

Good coaches don't get where they are without quite a bit of arrogance and stubbornness, but the truly great ones also evolve and adapt.

I think that the crux of our fear derives from the fact a good many of us are all a bit scared that our two aren't willing. Thoughts?
