okay job with the slab portion of this program. I think there are still some concerns on the OL but nothing one or two guys can't fix. I think UM may have a tackle playing guard and a guard playing tackle but it's not like this is some major reconstruction project like the RR to Hoke transition.
Can a guy like Bredeson or Onwenu help out...I think so. We will see. Both of these guys can probably fill in some. I think the real issue is getting the rb (1-2) who can really hit the hole and create a fear factor for defenses.
I think the DL foundation is solid but again UM is missing that great defensive playmaker(s). Somebody like an David Harris or Ian Gold or Graham or Steele. You get my point. Too many soft spots. Look what happened when Glasgow went down...the UM defense basically crumbled up front.
Nice to see another guy added today. Somebody something interesting on another site. Maybe Harbaugh should consider moving Peppers to offense...jack of all trades guy. He plays ST's. A Desmond Howard type but more physical. Not saying he is Desmond Howard.
I think UM can replace Peppers on defense. Why not play Peppers sparingly on defense...reverse it. I see so many good things going forward but at the end of the day...I really think UM is much closer to a great team than a mediocre team.
I honestly believe you give UM a high end rb, a big time lb'er and Glasgow and this game would have been very close. UM needs more than that but you get the point.
