And this comes from the heart. I don't give a flying eff what time the games are. You see what time the game is, you plan accordingly. They could kickoff at 3 AM and I'd be there cheering on my team. Frankly, I like throwing in a couple night games. Mix it up so each Saturday has a different vibe and not so routine. And regarding not scheduling MSU at night? Ridiculous. Just schedule the damn thing and make the necessary preparations, and take whatever precautions necessary. Like, use the buddy system, carry num-chuks, wear a whistle around your neck, etc. Also, get some feedback from the players. If they feel like playing a big rivalry game at night, and think it would give them an advantage, then do it. If they say it sucks to wait all day and it they feel less energized by gametime, then peel back on scheduling big games at night.
But personally, schedule it, and I will be there no matter what. I'm not going live my life in fear of some rowdy drunkard ass-stanchions.
