my son had a good one today.

As some of you know, he lost him mom to breast cancer when he was six. At his JV game tonight they let him and two other boys whose moms have been affected by the disease run through the banner together tonight first with pink balloons as they kick off their breast cancer awareness month.

And as if his mom was shining down on him, he had his best game ever. Three sacks, two batted down balls, and a punt block that he returned 35 yards for a touchdown. He held it up the last 20 yards before being mobbed by his whole team in the endzone.

On a day where the world seemed so bad, my son had it really good. Thank you Lord for giving him a special day. We feel so blessed.
