He played 17 frosh today. He's the exact opposite of D'Antonio who loads up players to play for 5 years which has been one of the big reasons for his success over the past couple years. Freshmen want to play right away, I think with Gary and Evans getting really meaningful PT and Bredeson as well it will get a lot of attention with recruits because neither play a position where we don't have any depth. We have tons of RBs, lots of upperclassmen on the O-line and a stacked D-line.
His message is, best players will play - versus seniority and all that BS. I personally think if we can somehow go 10-2 or better, we will see a very stacked recruiting class this year. Plus don't forget that we likely lose about 15+ starters next year so it's great that frosh are getting to play and get experience.
