The hit on Rudock was about as clear an intent as you can get. Guy adjusted last second to hit him in the head. And the one on Ross is an easy overturn on review. They have no clue how to enforce the rule.
 
Yeah..I thought the Northwestern guy was trying to 'spear' for the Ross hit just looked physical. Wasn't like he went primarily at the head area.

I am all for limiting these type of hits but it looks like if the guy on the receiving end is o.k. then they won't call it whereas if he is hurt then they do call it.

Agreed. See similar calls in NHL on occasion - the result affects the call. If Rudock stays down holding his head, that guy is gone.

I didnt mind them overturning the hit on rudock
Was pissed they didnt for ross
There should have been a late hit on the other guy that hit rudock that was the real bullshit
