For instance....
I look at one style...Brady/Montana/Bradshaw as pocket passers & game managers.
Marino/Manning/Favre/Kelly/Fouts as gun slingers.
Elway/Rodgers/Staubach as multi faceted qb's.
It's too hard to compare styles. I think these comparisons lend themselves to why guys who throw for a lot of yards don't necessarily win Superbowls.
The more yards and td's thrown in the regular season doesn't necessarily translate into winning against better defenses when teams can adapt to your style of play and have better talent. It doesn't require the defense to become an integral part of winning during the regular season.
