to try and get UM out of their backyard. It's all about a competitive advantage so why not do it and use any means necessary to keep that advantage.

There has go to be some serious lobbying behind the scenes of the NCAA to get this banned. I think the SEC will inevitably lose because it will impact where teams can travel (opens up a can of worms) and most importantly this is good for the NCAA to bring football publicity during the off season.

The SEC sees it as a problem whereas the NCAA doesn't.

Don't underestimate the NCAA's willingness to seize the pub but also faux show how much it cares about free time for students.

The SEC's argument is terribly weak sauce, but that may not matter.
