I can't believe anybody is heavily weighting 2020 in evaluating JH.....

Yes we should be better, but it is NOT a normal year. Consider:
  • We sent 13 guys to the NFL
  • We were 125 out of 130 D1 teams in returning experience per an article last February
  • No spring ball due to Covid (IMO critical with a young team; vet teams like IU and NW fared better)
  • Key assistant coach has a personnel matter in September (too late to replace him)
  • 2 key Covid opt outs (Thomas and Collins)
  • Immediate key injuries contributing to MSU and IU losses (Mayfield, Hutch, Paye)
  • Injury to McNamara in PSU game (Milton playing hurt too) to go with McGrone entering the game
Remember when Bo had no QBs and had morale issues in 1984 and went 6-6?
