I actually hinted at this a few months ago. If you look at our current roster I only see 50 guys coming back on scholarship. Harbaugh could really squeeze and bring back only 48. That means 35 new scholarships. I include one of our guys who is currently in prep school (Brad Hawkins).
I know there are regulations around how many we can take. But the bottom line is 85 scholarships however Harbaugh finds a way. So with this class I think he takes 35 and maybe even 36 or 37. That may mean 9 OL. Not sure that is how it plays out, but could be.
We are still thinking in the past that we would have all 9 of those OL for 4 years. I think Harbaugh brings them all in and the cream rises and the rest transfer after two years. There is a new sheriff in town. Max competition.
