for context I do think we needed a coaching shakeup and DB needed to go but Gattis should be gone this week too because his offense is anemic! Now let's FF to next year - let's say we go 10-1 heading into the OSU and lose to OSU by 35+ points what is our narrative? And let's say we get Will Muschamp. Do we say it's bad recruiting? Jim? Will's fault? OSUs fault because they cheat, etc etc etc?
I see a lot of anchoring on OSU but let's also not forget that OSU is historically great right now and coming off back to back #1 recruiting classes while we are fist pumping about our very average class because "phew it could have been worse". Our talent gap has been large against OSU and after the past 2 years it's going to be extremely large unfortunately.
