I have been watching some of the preliminary video and viewing pics of the damage. It is catastrophic. It looks like Homestead after Andrew. Most structures in Mexico Beach are severely damaged if not completely blown away. Mark Sudduth @hurricanetrack who has chased these storms for 30 years says it is the worst wind damage he has ever seen. This part of Florida other than the beaches is made up of a lot of poor communities where people have next to nothing already. If you are so inclined, please keep these folks in your thoughts and prayers and help out if able to do so.
