after a crushing loss like we had against MSU really helps you understand the resolve of the team. Well, today was not a good showing by Michigan. Other then Peppers the entire team was completely flat. Our linebackers, especially Bolden & Ross were absolutely terrible - I mean terrible. Lewis basically lost his All-American bid tonight by his play, he was terrible. Our defense got virtually no pressure whatsoever on the QB all day. Ruddock, before his injury kept throwing the ball really late on almost all his passes. We are very luck to escape with a win.
I truly believe we just came out completely flat today and I hope JH can right this ship in a hurry because if we keep playing like this we will likely lose to both PSU and OSU. Either way, at least we are going bowling and given how lucky Minn kept getting all day long, I will take a little bit of the lady luck on our side on the last 19 seconds
BTW, I think refs are terrible - how was the helmet knockdown on Ruddock not a penalty??? If Michigan did that, we would have had our player ejected. Terrible. Also, how good is Peppers!!! Geesh, that guy is incredible.
