This football season has been nothing like we have ever seen. Late starts, cancellations amid a pandemic, etc. While Bama, Clemson and OSU continue to crank things have been nuts. There have been opt-outs, defenses across the nation are struggling in general (even Bama gave up around 50 points in a game). Liberty just beat VTech. Penn State is getting demolished at home and will go to 0-3, while we are 1-2. Wisconsin has only played 1 game this season because of COVID protocol, PAC will only have 2 games on tonight because the other 3 are cancelled. I have never played organized sports anywhere close to this level (or even sniffed it) but I am curious how much stock are kids and coaches putting into a season that some may think is forced or not well thought through? Is this really a season where you can truly get a gage of the direction of your program? By that token, James Franklin should be on the massive hot seat as well, as should Kirby Smart, as should Lincoln Riley perhaps, etc. Thoughts?
