6-4 195 lbs, Michigan 2025 QB commitment Carter Smith had a sensational junior season. He passed for 2,223 yards and 29 touchdowns with just four interceptions. Smith also ran for 715 yards and 19 touchdowns, leading Fort Myers (FL) Bishop Verot to an 11-2 record. Smith was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Florida.

Why isn’t this kid getting as much buzz as Michigan’s other highly-rated commitments? Will he just show up in Ann Arbor and surprise everyone? 3,000 yards of total offense and 48 touchdowns? That’s 230 yards and 3.6 touchdowns per game! And he’s not getting lots of buzz? How come?
