Watched two minutes of the hockey game on the big screen, promptly relegated it to the ipad and enjoyed the W B-ball team beat a decent Notre Dame team for the first time in years.
Hockey improved a little but it seemed every time M scored a nice goal PSU peppered enough shots to stay in the game, take the lead and turn it into a laugher. Did not watch the play enuf to comment on what didn't go wrong.
Basketball started the same but M came out and actually adjusted to the zone defense, mixing up attacks and shooting pretty well. Kept ND from their fast break and hitting threes. I especially liked keeping Halley Brown under the basket on defense as we continue to have problems moving the feet on defense and allow a ton of layups.
A nice victory, finishing well on the road. Has anyone seen Indiana, Maryland or NW to be able to compare them?
