Now one or both could have a career game on Saturday but up until this point it's a pretty fun comparison. Many were upset the staff offered Higdon late and ran Weber off but these are so close and I'll be honest, after Webers redshirt freshman year I thought he was going to be a stud.
Higdon: 456 carries 2544 yards 27 tds
15 receptions 176 yards 0 TDs
2720 total yards 27 tds
Weber: 410 carries 2433 yards 23 TDs
49 receptions 267 yards 1 td
2700 total yards 24 tds
Now I know Weber has 1 more year but it's a fun comparison thru 3 years basically for both. Yes Higdon is done after this year but it's still 3 years for each, I mean Higdon had 11 carries for 19 yards as a freshman so that's equivalent to Webers 0 for redshirting.
The interesting thing is, if this years redshirt policy was in place wed have Higdon 1 more year unless he decided to go pro which I'm sure he would.
