Before the season started would you have taken

A. 9-2 and a loss against MSU with a shot at OSU at home for the East Division title

or

B. 8-4 with a win against MSU but a chance to beat OSU but not for the East Division Title.

It's sort of a trick question. I would take 'A' because I want the 9 wins and don't think UM will beat OSU. I think the 9 wins is more 'prestigious' for this first year than even a win against MSU but at 8-4.

I think the 'media' looks at 9 wins as more impressive than 8 wins but a win against MSU. Think about this...9 wins is a reflection of a very good year with less than ideal talent. 8 wins means average in most cases.

9 wins says a FOUR game improvement over last year. Plus the 9 wins may get the media frenzy going for next week if OSU wins. This season has created unbelievable momentum for this program. Wonder what Drew Sharp will have to say about this season? Can't wait. ;)

Dude we want the championship. Very easy question.

Also the MSU win was a complete fluke and easily dismissed. Especially after they lost to crap-ass Nebraska.

You're looking at NU's record, which is the most important issue but Nebraska lost 5 games by 13/15 points. That offense would give us a hard time IMO, Armstrong is hot/cold but he can be a real force as a dual threat. We'd struggle with our running game so that leaves it up to Jake/Receivers to pull it out. I'm ecstatic that we're 9-2 and playing for the East title. Just hoping that some of the "boo-boos" today don't keep those players out of THE GAME!
