Michigan football held a scrimmage at Michigan Stadium today. The weather wasn’t great so not much to take away from the scrimmage in general.
Here are some quick notes:
- QB reps still split down the middle. Both made plays, both had mistakes. Per those I talked to, it sounds as if JJ outplayed Cade today.
- Davis Warren, again, receiving praise. We were told that he was the best QB on the field today. His performance was “insanely good” per those I have spoken with.
- Peyton O’Leary AGAIN receiving praise. All of this has been unprompted.
- The quick analysis on the defense was that it gave up a few big plays today, didn’t sound like a very strong day.
- Michigan is having issues with players suffering from soft tissue injuries. Again, nothing to be concerned about but some guys are missing camp time because of it.
