By the advanced metrics Aaron Henry would be the fourth best player on a combined UM/MSU roster behind Livers, Wagner and Dickinson. And Hauser slots in right there around the Austin Davis level, or just above Johns.
If you mashed the two rosters together your playing rotation would have four UM starters and Henry, and Heuser would get 4-7 mins a game. Langford, at least based on player metrics, would be sitting next to Terrance Williams waiting on foul trouble.
As is the 2021 custom, slowly but surely we beat them to death and will again Sunday. The lack of depth and talent on that team is a sight to behold. It’s no wonder that Izzo’s rotations and starting lineups change all the time: just about everyone on that team just pisses off the coach most of the time they’re playing. How they beat OSU and IL is still beyond me.
They better get some transfers in next year or it’s going to be more of the same.
