since Harbaugh has been here? I think a lot of the frustration of our fan base comes from the fact that we can’t really hang our hats on any win where we were the inferior team from a talent standpoint. Even under Hoke, I think we could argue that Va Tech had more talent than we did and we won an ugly high profile bowl game.
We have established that we can solve our problems w/ aggression and man ball inferior opponents and look very impressive doing so. The problem is good coaching equates to us out scheming other coaching staffs w/ equal or superior talent. I go back to the original question. Have we beaten one team since Harbaugh has been here where we didn’t have the superior talent?
Now, u combine that question w/ the salaries of our current coaching staff and the showing in that cesspool down South and u have a frustrated and skeptical fan base.
That being said, I believe next year sets up nicely to right the remaining wrongs as it relates to ND and O$U. I believe we will be nearly unbeatable at home on a go forward basis under Harbaugh. I’m not sure why we seem to struggle more than other elite programs on the road, but at this point it’s undeniable that we do.
Let’s kick their asses next year.
