That was a coaching clinic on BOTH sides of the ball today. On offense, they surgically went right at and attacked our weakness, and on defense, they did the same thing and took away exactly what we wanted to do. Continue to hate if you want, but people need to give this man his due.
The sad thing is that game is going to start a recruiting bonanza (at least locally) for MSU. This guy comes in from day 1 and shows they are already on an equal basis with UM. Dang. Their story will be we can only go up from here. And who can blame them, after they come into A2 with a supposedly vastly inferior team and beat us. Their narrative now is going to be, what do you think is going to happen once Mel gets "his own players". What is going to happen indeed?
