It is like when I was 16 and realized given the collective DNA of my parents I was never going to be tall - not much can do about that...thought about doing the rack to see if that would work -- but have to admit had to get used to it
Seems we are going to have to get used to it for our football team.....it is a hard fact...but even with all the money spent -- coaching that is supposed to be excellent -- recruiting in 5-15 range every year etc....we are not that good a program.
what is it -- 11 players from last years team are in the NFL -- guess we had talent --- but it did not seem like we had that much watching them play
Jim Harbaugh to date has not turned the corner in getting Michigan closer to Big 10 let alone National Championships.
Jim has done many others things well -- graduating players - no real player legal issues and when they are there they get dealt with -- and it seems getting guys into the NFL
What he hasnt done -- close the gap versus OSU and seemingly has trouble with MSU and others too -- really?
Where our collective expectations too high for a coach with his pedigree?

The hard fact is Jim needs to be doing better.
This is his team - he has gotten all he has asked for resources - staff etc....
try this on for a hard fact -- three of the best players / coaches from Ann Arbor in the past 2 weeks arent wearing maize and blue.
Would you trade for the MSU Linebacker Simmons from Pioneer? I would.
How about Mike Hart and Nick Sheridan -- would you trade Jay Harbaugh and Josh Gattis for them? I would.
Hard fact Jim is likely not going anywhere unless he wants to leave.
But he is looking more like Bump Elliot and less like Fielding Yost from a results prespective.
We deserve better -- but hard fact -- we may not get it - just like I was relegated to being 5 7
